A group of friends set out for the greatest high of their lives, but stumble across something out of this world in the upcoming movie “Star Leaf” It’s easy to categorize this movie as a simple search to get high, but that would be a great disservice to this multi-layered movie. As you will see in this trailer.

Star Leaf was directed by Richard Cranor, Cranor co-wrote this movie with Hugh Berry. This movie is rounded out by a great cast, featuring Russell Hodgkinson ( SyFy’s Z Nation and Tim Burton’s Big Fish) Julian Gavilanes (Grinder and Z Nation) Kiki Yeung (GODMACHINE)

Now, to give you more insight on the making of this movie, here is a conversation the Joshua Gilmore from Nowhere California had with director Richard Cranor..

Suicide Squad is no Joke!! But Seriously…

(Nicholas Dye, Staff Writer)

Revealed at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, here is the Suicide Squad trailer we promised! I am a huge fan of the current comic book run and it looks like David Ayer and John Ostrander went to great lengths to make sure this movie captured the grit and spirit of said comics. The premise of Suicide Squad is a black ops agency, led by Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), puts together an elite team using the world’s worst criminals. They are tasked with completing missions deemed…you guessed it, suicidal. The big question…how to keep all those baddies in line? Although we have seen the reveal pictures online, the trailer gives us our first introduction to Jared Leto’s take on the Joker. With some awfully large clown shoes left to be filled by the late Heath Ledger and the outstanding Jack Nicholson, this is no small feat. From his laugh alone, I think Leto will do the legacy proud! Suicide Squad gives Bat-fans their first on screen interpretation of Harley Quinn played by the insanely hot Margot Robbie as well as Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje). The rest of the squad is rounded out by Deadshot (Will Smith), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), El Diablo (Jay Hernandez), and Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman). Much like Guardians of the Galaxy was a runaway sleeper hit for Marvel, I believe Suicide Squad will do the same for DC. Suicide Squad hits theaters August 5, 2016 and is not yet rated.

SDCC Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice Trailer

Since our site is still in it’s early stages, our 2015 comic con coverage will come at you in stages and we will have a full blown SDCC Aftermath episode of Nowhere California coming to your ears very soon.

But For Now….

We would be insane if we didn’t continue to spread the Dawn of Justice trailer. In a world that we will be seeing this epic battle, we will finally see Wonder Woman get some much deserved big screen love.

This is probably a moot point, but here is a friendly reminder, BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE will be unleashed March 25,2016
