Thor Love And Thunder trailer

Marvel Gets Metal

Nicholas Dye (Staff Writer/Podcaster)

Just ahead of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Marvel dropped the first trailer for the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder. We see Thor ditching his dad bod (almost assuredly with a shred-filled 80d training montage), swashbuckling and wooing ladies, and traversing the universe with his new friends, the Guardians of the Galaxy. We also get our first look at Jane Foster wielding the reforged Mjolnir as a confused Thor looks on. Anyway, enough of that! Here’s the trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder…

Marvel is going to get Strange

(Nicholas Dye/Staff Writer)

Entertainment Weekly gives us our first look at Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange and he looks…wait for it…magical!! Cumberbatch is the newest face to join the Marvel family but is no STRANGEr (Okay I’ll stop!) to the big screen. Gaining huge fame overseas as the infallible Sherlock Holmes on BBC’s “Sherlock”, Cumberbatch gained popularity as Kahn in 2013’s “Star Trek: Into Darkness”. With razor sharp diction and a superbly confident demeanor, Cumberbatch was an easy choice to become the “Sorcerer Supereme.” Benedict Cumberbatch will be joined by Rachel McAdams (Sherlock Holmes), Tilda Swinton (Constantine) as The Ancient One and Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Year a Slave) as Baron Mordo. You can catch Doctor Strange in theaters November 4, 2016 or you can pick up the upcoming copy of Entertainment Weekly for a more detailed read.
