After a short return to normal Nowhere California business, it is time to finish up our coverage from the 2016 Long Beach Comic Expo and release our final 3 interviews from this event.

In this installment, the guys from Nowhere talk with the talented Katie Leigh. The career of Katie Leigh can easily be summed up as the voices from your childhood. Leigh’s list of credits can be looked at like a roadmap of iconic children’s programming and you can sample some of this work through her animation demo..

Katie Leigh was a delight to talk with and our excitement shows in this conversation, some excitement shows more than others, but we would like to thank Katie for this opportunity.

screen-shot-2012-11-21-at-8-27-21-pm-1

(Joshua Gilmore-Staff Writer)

The Days of the Dead conventions were unleashed onto the world in July of 2011 with Indianapolis, IN serving as the first location. Since that debut event, the Days of the Dead crew have left their bloody marks across the country and have the continuing goal of presenting a convention “for fans, by fans.”

The Days of the Dead convention will be returning to the west coast in April, the guest list keeps building and this year’s event will spill some ink into the bloody mix, as this leg of the Days of Dead will present their first ever tattoo expo.

The hangover from the Long Beach Comic Expo is starting to fade, but it’s time for our coverage to get into high gear.

In our first installment of our coverage, we had the pleasure of talking to Tony Todd. This man has been connected to some of the modern classics of horror and independent film. Also, Todd has made an impact on the small screen and can be seen of CW’s FLASH as Zoom.

It was an honor to have a conversation with this man and we would like to thank Tony for taking the time to talk with some guys from Nowhere.

During our conversation, Tony mentioned his current work in the movie “Frankenstein” and you can watch the trailer below. It looks to be a modern take on a horror classic and, from the looks of the trailer, this version will honor the legacy of the original.

(Joshua Gilmore-Staff Writer)

It has been an amazing journey, but it’s time to finish our coverage from the 2015 Comikaze. This adventure was something that the entire Nowhere California Team could never imagine and we cannot wait to make this trip in 2016.

Now, with all of that said, we have planned to finish our coverage with blast from our childhood past and talk with Bill Kopp. Kopp has worked in every position in Hollywood and developed a career that has spanned several decades, but his work in animation has been Kopp’s long lasting legacy.

Kopp has had his hands in some of the greatest franchises and cult classics, one of those cult classics being Eek The Cat and that cat is one of the many reason Nowhere California wanted to sit down with this creative mind.

It looks like Ryan Reynolds is delivering a bad touch and Deadpool approves!

Ryan and Deadpool have bestowed this image exclusively to People.com. It looks like a possible in-theater promotional item, that fans can enjoy and share their pictures through the vast wasteland of social media.

So, on your next journey to the movies, search your theater’s lobby and you might find the lap of a man in red to sit in. Also, you might see this awesome piece of Deadpool art.

The 2nd day is in the books, stay tuned for day 3 and the exclusive that will be released to DeviantArt.com

It’s time to return to the mix of Nowhere California’s coverage of the 2015 Stan Lee’s Comikaze and jump back into the conversations that developed from this amazing event, but I should rephrase amazing event and change that into Shpadoinkle event, as the guys from Nowhere talk with Dian Bachar.

Dian has built a great career, during his time in front of and behind the camera. This conversation delves in many aspects of Dian’s acting life, such as his creative work and friendship with the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Also, Dian discusses his current slate of work and the journey to bring these projects to life, from My Neighborhood to The Murders of Brandywine Theater, Dian has a lot in store for his fans.

Here is a quick trailer for The Murders of Brandywine Theater. This movie can be found on iTunes and other streaming formats.

Nowhere California Talks With LIVE-EVIL Mastermind..

liveevil

(Joshua Gilmore-Staff Writer)

Back in October, we posted about the horror film LIVE-EVIL and here is the trailer again, if you need a quick refresher…

I was lucky enough to attend this movie’s screening at the 2015 Stan Lee Comikaze and enjoyed every moment of LIVE-EVIL. The movie is a great blend of horror and humor, with a cast and crew that clearly have a passion for the production. LIVE-EVIL is that type of movie you want to watch multiple times and with multiple people, so you can catch every moment.

Now, with that being said, I was lucky enough to have a phone conversation with the writer/director Ari Kirschenbaum and we jumped head first into this movie’s world.

(Joshua Gilmore-Staff Writer)

The guys from nowhere meet a girl from Jersey in this next installment of Nowhere California’s coverage of the 2015 Stan Lee Comikaze, as Phil and Josh talk with actress, Marilyn Ghigliotti.

Ghigliotti entered the pop culture world with her work as Veronica in the cult classic “CLERKS” and continues to build a great career, with such movies as “Alien Armageddon” and the upcoming “Lake Eerie”

“Lake Eerie” is set to be unleashed January 15 2016 by Gravitas Ventures and looks like it will be an intense journey.

A journey that wasn’t intense was our conversation with Marilyn, it was an absolute pleasure and we would like to thank Marilyn for this opportunity.
