FINALLY A “No Way Home” Trailer..

It has been said that you can’t go home again and for Peter Parker, the journey home has been rougher then the average person. In “Far From Home”, we left the web slinger watching his world and secret identity being exposed to the world. Now, two years and some corporate entities coming to terms, we have our first look at the next entry in the saga of everyone’s favorite neighborhood Spiderman.

The world has been patiently waiting for our first look at the post “Far From Home” world and it was worth the wait. We get a quick taste of how Peter’s life is upside down and what lengths he is willing to go to fix things, but the problem is the aftermath of this resolution and the effects he is not ready to put into action. In this confusion and deeper dive into the multiverse, we get a peek into the variant worlds of the web slinger and some ghost’s of franchises past are unleashed in this current Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This trailer is the tip of the titanic sized iceberg, we know the casting “rumors” and the road leading to this film’s release, so the “No Way Home” reveals should be unleashed faster and we will be ready.

ENDGAME Doesn’t Mean Game Over..

As 2019 comes to a close and the mourning continues for the ones we lost in Avengers: ENDGAME, one question continued to linger and one of those answers came in the form of the first trailer for MARVEL Studios: Black Widow.

The announcement of Natasha Romanoff’s solo movie excited the MARVEL universe, then ENDGAME left the movie watching public wondering about this movie and which direction we would see this character take. Luckily, the studio didn’t travel the same road as 2005’s Elektra and we are traveling back to the world post Captain America: Civil War.
The trailer drives us quickly into Natasha’s return to the world that built her and her attempts to disappear from the radar, but a life of a Red Room spy isn’t that easy and we see her reconnect with some “family”, one of them being a nostalgic Red Gaurdian (played by “Stranger Things” David Harbour).

Black Widow clearly shows the spy thriller vibe that The Winter Soldier gave us in the early phases of the Infinity Saga, but in a completely different world and it’s the world of a character that deserved a solo adventure.

Spiderman: International Man Of Mystery..

The marvelous MARVEL web slinger is crossing the pond and the year continues to heat up for the lucky movie watching world. MARVEL has unleashed previews for Captain Marvel and teased us with the Avengers’ grand finale, now we are treated to the trailer for Peter Parker’s second solo outing and the debut of Mysterio.

Now that the world had witnessed the new trailers for Spiderman:Far From Home (First being the North American trailer and the second being the international preview) There’s levels upon levels of things to dissect, first being the continuation of Aunt May’s knowledge of Peter’s secret and the awkward, but cute flirtation between May and Happy. There are a lot of subtle things to watch for throughout this trailer, but the action quickly rattles you back into the adventure at hand.

 The European vacation is upended by forces that are great, such as Hydro Man and a possible Sandman. Also, there is a mysterious force that some of the most jaded comic book fans can’t help but cheer for and that comes in the form of Mysterio, played by Jake Gyllenhall. In this trailer, Quentin Beck seems to be showing his heroic side and we can wonder how long that might last.

 Spiderman:Far From Home will be released on July 5th of this year and will the aftermath of End Game still be shaking through the MARVEL Universe, let alone this movie or will Spiderman be returning home to the start of a war?

Did the above picture make you pee your pants? No? Then watch trailer below and grab some towels! See, I wanted to come up with one of my clever titles but I was too blown away by the sheer awesomeness to come up with one. The slow burn that began back in 2008 with Iron Man is finally coming to it’s conclusion in 2018 with Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War. The Mad Titan Thanos (Josh Brolin) has finally made his move to claim the legendary Infinity Stones so that he may reshape the universe to his liking. Standing in his way is the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Nova Corps, and several other heroes…67 according to co-director Joe Russo.

In the trailer, we get to see, Bruce Banner, who apparently fell through the entire Sanctum Sanctorum, standing with Dr. Strange and Tony Stark, Black Widow with blond hair, Winter Soldier with Black Panther, the Hulkbuster Armor, Captain America as Nomad, humany Vision and Scarlet Witch, Peter Parker all tingly, Thor the pirate, Loki the bitch,…um…The Guardians of the Galaxy, uh…War Machine…Falcon…Chuck Norris…Jimmy Hoffa…D.B. Sweeney (look him up)…okay MAYBE all of those don’t appear but it damn sure feels like it. There’s really not much more I can say that does this trailer justice so I will leave you with this final rant:

MAY 4TH MARVEL!!? Your boss owns Star Wars and you guys HAD to go and pick World Star Wars Day to drop your damn amazing movie!? Took some balls Russo Brothers…big ass balls…Anywho…here you go. Remember…towel.

A New Trailer For MARVEL’s Web Slinger..

This week brought us the newest trailer for the upcoming DC “Justice League” movie and MARVEL couldn’t let their sleeping dogs or web slingers lie, because we have been treated to another taste of “Spiderman:Homecoming” in the form of a new action packed trailer.

This is the second trailer for this new era of Spiderman and the anticipation continues to rise. The first trailer gave us the John Hughes meets comic books world of Peter Parker and this new preview wipes away the angst to give us more of an adult threat with The Vulture, played with brilliant menace by Michael Keaton. Also, we received a clearer look at the possible mentor relationship between Parker and Tony Stark. It would be too easy to label it a father and son relationship, but we all know the downsides of heroes and their parental issues.

 “Spiderman:Homecoming” is a movie this character has deserved for a long time and MARVEL is treating it with the respect other studios seem to have struggled to accomplish. This is a great year to be a movie fan and it’s great to see this web slinger finally come home.

The League Of DC Comes Together..

 The Justice League have assembled.. sorry they have united in the newest trailer for the upcoming blockbuster for the DC cinematic universe. Since last year’s San Diego Comic Con, we have been treated to full blown trailers and other clips, but this is our chance to see this team in full tilt boogie level action.

This preview does the job of every good trailer and makes you want more, but with the speed bumps that the DC Universe has seen, the doubts are in the water and I will not add to it. This trailer is an excellent piece that gives you the right taste of everyone and reveals more of the Justice League team that you might have been wondering about. I know that I am not alone with the thought of Aquaman stealing this movie and owning every scene he is in.

 As the DC promotion train picks up stream, the hopes for Justice League can only grow and November can’t get here quick enough. There is the possible question out there of DC ability to finally reach MARVEL’s cinematic levels in the theaters, but those question should finally be ignored and DC can focus on their own film legacy.

 In the past our convention coverage, our focus would stay on the art of the comic book pages and the creative minds that put pen to page. In this installment of our adventures at the 2017 Long Beach Comic Expo, we are leaving the pages and moving to the wall, so we can talk with artist Michael Matsumoto.

 Michael is an illustrator and a conceptual artist that delves deep into pop culture for inspiration. During his continuing elevation in the art world, Michael has developed a following and has picked up freelance work in the form of commissioned pieces. Also, during this time, he has found a place in the convention circuit and this is where we crossed paths.

Spider-Man Avenged: Homecoming Trailer Released

 The silver screen translations of Spider-Man have been many and the reactions have been a mixed bag since the first incarnation hit the screen. The ups and downs have been many, with the downs hitting the basement hard. Now, Spider-Man is back with MARVEL and it is time for a proper homecoming.

You just watched the North American and International trailer for “Spider-Man:Homecoming” In those short moments, as with Spidey’s appearance in “Captain America: CIVIL WAR”, you care about this character more then you could ever in the Sam Raimi trilogy.

 It’s quick to notice that the iconic web slinger is in the proper hands of the house that truly built his legacy and he is back in the universe that he belongs in. The casting of Peter was done with perfect precision, Tom Holland plays Peter with the heart of a kid that could overcome this insane situation and you would actually believe that he is a high schooler.

 The entire cast looks like they are ready to give this iconic web slinger his proper moment in the spotlight and Michael Keaton stepping into the evil wings of The Vulture is going to add another stellar moment to Keaton’s career.

 There is so much more that can be said about this trailer and we’ll have all of that coming in the upcoming episodes of our podcast. “Spider-Man:Homecoming” looks to be a moment of truth in labeling and it’s great to say that Spidey is truly home.

 Independence Day Weekend 2017 will bring more then fireworks to the sky. Look for Spider-Man to hit theaters July 7,2017.
